Good food very big portions definitely on the expensive side but would definitely recommend the horchata.

As always, food excellent, service is fast, salsa bar really good, prices, very reasonable

Really good lunch specials. My order wasn't correct though at the drive through. Tasty food and there are more healthy options. Good portion sizes for those trying to eat healthy

This place is pretty good. The food is great. It’s the service that is really hit or miss. If you get there and there is no line, go for it and enjoy. They aren’t adept at handling a big line and juggling the drive through at the same time so you will spend more time waiting to order than you will waiting for your food.

Excellent food!! Food would be 5 stars although “Emily”? In the drive through was so rude!! Every time I go staff are so polite and helpful but when I go and she’s there she doesn’t fail to be rude not only to customers but also her peers! I was dinning in about 2-3 weeks ago and one of the staff members that was new was helping me and she kept rudely interrupting us. So uncomfortable! I absolutely love everything else about Mixteca but it’s hard for me to return knowing I’ll be treated like that.

Great place always good food and consistent

I really don't know why this place is so highly rated...Maybe the time we went was just a bad day.? I don't know, we might go back and try again. My husband had the street tacos send said they're 'perfectly average.' And I think that's really the best description of Mixteca.I had the enchilada plate which was more like a bowl of mush. Way way too much sauce and cheese. I couldn't really enjoy my food at all. The chips and salsa bar is nice and my horchata was tasty.

What a wonderful place to eat! Food was great and waitstaff team was helpful and friendly. The cashier miss entered an item on the order and the gentleman who appeared to be the manager (maybe owner) was so attentive he noticed my confusion and made the correction right away and delivered my order to me within minutes. He even brought a bag and foil wrap to take the miss ordered item home.We will definitely be visiting again!! Thank you Mixteca Team!

Food is good and serving size is plentiful. Had the taco combo meal with an ice cold beer. We have been here many times and the food is consistently good.

Got a chimichanga combo and it was delicious. It had a good flavor thanks to the chefs. The music and the place is nice.

The Food was really good, the Margaritas were so refreshing. Especially in this heat. The Shrimp cocktail was better than alot of other places I've had it. I recommend😊

This place has great food! Is chips and salsa are great... it's a little dark inside though. Makes you wonder what they're hiding when it comes to cleanliness..lol KIDDING 🤣 The food is very good and well worth it. They do have live music at night it's a fun place

Restaurants remodeling and upgrades are great. Ordered the Quesadilla Supreme with chicken. Better than before, definitely recommend a visit by anybody.

Love the food but rated 4 stars because this restaurant is very inconsistent. Have been coming since I moved to this area 2 years ago. Every time I order a certain plate through the drive thru I get different things in my meal. Like shrimp cocktail, I’ll ask for chips, and one day I’ll get a bag full of them apart from my food, another day I’ll get a little handful with a couple crackers I didn’t order, or get the complete opposite. Food is great but not consistent.

Their refried beans are my favorite, their flour tortillas are very soft and delicious. I've loved this place for years, consistently good.

Went to during the weekly Saturday car show! Music was a little loud but the djs were super nice about turning it down a little. Food and drinks are good.reasonably priced. Not much seating except outside because it summer. They do have misters.

It was really good. I had the shrimp tostada. I loved it.

The taste of their food is good, but you never know what’s actually in your bag when you order at the drive thru. The receipt is what you order, but not what you get. Last week, ordered a hamburger plain for our kiddo. Got home, it was a cheeseburger. Tried again tonight....receipt says ‘hamburger plain’ got a cheeseburger. Asked for catsup packets before we received the order. Lady said ‘it’ll be in the box’. Got home, opened the box and it wasn’t. When your prices are on the high side, you would expect to get home and have what you order.

Always a reliable place to get some of the best Mexican food in the city. Service is usually fast and place is always clean.

Enjoyed the atmosphere and design of the restaurant. We opted to dine outside since the weather was nice.The meals we tried were seasoned well, not overbearing and reasonably priced. We will return again, next time with more friends.

I love this place! They have everything you could want from full breakfast (Mexican or American style) to chimichangas. The food is Always delicious and the service is top notch!

I ordered the fish tacos, wish I would have gone to Rubios. Also tried the Margaritas to go, refreshing drinks with good flavor, definitely not an adult beverage.

Always a great time here. Love the happy hour menu. Live band in the evenings is really nice as well. Deana is an incredible server and very attentive. Great atmosphere especially on the patio with the fire tables.

This place has great, authentic food + drink! We LOVE the live music outside! But, it is notoriously slow in the drive-thru line... shortest wait is a half hour during dinner time. Be advised.

Love this small but very Friendly Mexican Bar and Grill... Specially on Saturday Collector Car night!!! (Yeah, I'm a car guy)... where you'll find me me at the Bar having a Burger and a Beer chatting with Bar Keep Lorrie !!!

Food was bomb. Employees were cool. Was short employment. Though.

Food must be good quite busy ,sign on outside of building said dining room open get inside dining room is closed . I understand closing dining room but please take outside sign down.We didn't eat there.

Hard to know if it’s good or not! Tried calling several times and got the message that the “voicemail box is full”.. when someone finally did pick up and began taking my order they hung up during the call. I tried to call back a few times but was never able to get through again. Moving on ...

This place has great prices and great portions. Everything tasted really good. The service was good and the restaurant was clean and well kept.

The food was awesome. The service was top notch. Our first time here. The woman taking our order was patient, helpful and masked up! I live Mexican food, hubby doesn't. SO, with that being said, we were both happy with our food. Again, the helpful order taker was great.

They have great food and the serving sizes are very large!

Mixteca has been around for a while and our family loves them. They have live music and good food. Restaurant is clean and fairly quick with the orders despite having a good crowd. Thanks Mixteca!

Yesterday went to eat.I usually love it but yesterday chips were stale, my enchilada had like a full thigh vs shredded.They did remodel and look nice and clean. But food was not as good.

2nd time eating here. Very nice place, clean well stocked salsa bar. She had 2 street tacos rice and beans. I had the super burrito enchilada style. The meat very tender, salsas very flavorful.2 filling meals and a drink for under $23. Check it out. Band on Tuesday and Saturday

People who are working there are coming down with the Covid??? Why are you still open??? Only reason I know this is my daughter is now home with Covid and one other drive thru person has come up with Covid??? Again why are you passing this through you drive thru to your customers???

Nice place to eat, has a band on weekends, just a little crowded on Saturdays when we are there so its hard to get a seat. Great food for the money. They give a lot of food for an acceptable price. The food is really good too. I recommend 👌 you stopping by and getting yourself something to eat.

Absolutely delicious breakfast! We got the Huevos rancheros and will definitely be coming back again. Large portions and very flavorful. Staff very friendly.

The breakfast burrito's ARE AHHHHMAZZZINGG! Better than filibees! I had a Chorizo burrito which came with papas and I asked for refried beans and that was just the icing on my cake!! Thank you!! Grub hub delivered in a great time...

I like this place for their carnitas tacos and burritos, the salsa bar and live music. I plan on exploring the menu more. It's a small place with a drive through. They call your number and you grab your own food. I've been coming here for months and haven't sat on the patio/bar side until tonight so I had no clue they had servers out there. The service on the indoor patio is lacking. Server continued to walk on by MANY times without ever asking if I needed or wanted a refill of my margarita or if I needed anything in general so I walked the whole 3 feet to the bar to get my own. I would suggest that type of service to improve to retain long term customers. Luckily the food is on point!

We have been coming here at least once a month for three years. Anytime family comes to visit they want to come here. Great, authentic Mexican food!
